JESIK, Mary Teresa (nee Rusnak) - Peacefully, on Thursday, June 22nd, 2007 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in her 73rd year. Predeceased by her husband Emil (November 27, 1995). Loving mother of Frank (Shelley), Rose, Terry (Ric) Scharf, Pat (Ed) Hallett, Carol (Mark) Pioli, Peter (Lea-Ann) and Paul (Donna). Devoted grandmother of Steven, Bryson, Lauren, Josh, Christy, Brianna, Eric, Cassandra, Nina, Nathan, Noah, Devon, Ryan, Erin, Ethan and Emma. Survived by her sister Anne Balanowski and many brother-in-laws, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mary was a long time member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and the Catholic Women's League. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil Prayers with the CWL present will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 7 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (21 Queen St. S., Thorold) on Monday, June 25th at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. If so desired, donations to Holy Rosary Church (Building Fund or St. Vincent dePaul Society) or the Shaver Hospital Healing Gardens would be appreciated by the family. She will be missed. 10714290
