HEWTON, Shirley Eleanor - passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday June 19th, 2007 at the age of 79. Loving daughter of the late Victor and Gertrude Valleau. Beloved wife of the late Charles Hewton. Dear mother of Joan Vanderlaan (Al), Helen McMurray (Roger), Donna Edkins (John), Victor Baitley, Alan Baitley (Sharon), James Baitley (Beverley), Thomas Hewton, and George Reddom (Sylvia). Survived by sister Gertrude McMurray.Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Also remembered by her friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her sister Doreen Snider. The family will receive friends a the WALAS FUNERAL HOME 130 Main St., Brighton (613-475-2121) on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Service will be held in the chapel on Friday June 22nd, 2007 at 1:30p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior to service time.
