MICHAUD, Andre - It is with great sadness that the family of Andre Michaud announces his passing at the Welland Hospital on June 17, 2007 in his 74th year. Loving and devoted husband of the late Reina (Rainville) Michaud (April 2007). Cherished father of Suzanne Barber (Dave), Richard Michaud (Lora). Andre will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Brian Fournier, Brandon, Jennifer and Kayla Michaud. He also leaves behind many special nieces and nephews. Dear brother of Roger Michaud, Jackie Hoffman and Pauline Crews (Doug) and his brothers and sisters-in-law in the Rainville Family. Predeceased by his parents Emile and Cecile, brother John Michaud and sister Jeannette Huneault. Andy worked at General Motors for many years and also coached hockey for the Club Champlain League and enjoyed broomball in his earlier years. He was also very involved with the Red Cross. He loved wildlife and enjoyed feeding and the company of his many squirrel and bird friends. He was a very opinionated when it came to politics and volunteered much of his time for the cause. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland Thursday from 2-4 and 7 until service time in the funeral home at 8 p.m. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association will be greatly appreciated by the family. 10706115
