BYE, Edna Lydia (nee Faechner) 1921 - 2007 Edna Lydia Bye, of Calgary, passed away on June 27, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Edna was born on July 7, 1921 in Hanna, AB. Throughout her career she worked in the hardware business, which spanned over thirty years. Her greatest passion in life was her family and spending time with them. She also loved gardening, cooking and truly adored the Christmas season. Edna is survived by her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bart and Marlene of Kamloops, BC, Garth and Val of Calgary, AB and Myles of Edmonton, AB; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Iris Faechner of Hanna, AB and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Calvin in 1970; brothers Dan, Bill and Herb; as well as sisters Annie and Bertha.
