ANTLER, Dora (nee Duchene) - In loving memory of Dora (nee Duchene) Antler, 95 years, who passed away Sunday, July 15th, 2007 at the SRH - St. Joseph's Health Center. She was born in Chapeau, Quebec and married Gustave Antler in 1930 in Sudbury. A longtime and well respected Wahnapitae resident, Dora had been a hard worker and great cook at the Wahnapitae Community Center. Always quick to help others she had been a girl guide leader. She was a avid gardener whose green thumbs produced beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables. She was a keen knitter whose creations are treasured by family and friends. She was truly a good person whose light inspired all she met. She was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of Gustave Antler predeceased 1979. Loving mother of Ethel Charsley of Sudbury, Wesley (wife Carol) of Wahnapitae, Ida Mae Wendorf (husband Donald) of Capreol, Donald of Sudbury and Edward “Eddie“ (wife Rita) of Wahnapitae. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Joseph and Justine (St. Jean) Duchene predeceased. Dear sister of Beatrice Bergeron of Wahnapitaw and the late Lenix, Alire, Octave, Victoria, Mary, Regina and Annie all predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent st at Hazel St. Wednesday, July 18th, 2007 at 11 am. Interment in the Civic Cemetery.
