DILLON, John V. - At St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital on Sunday, July 15, 2007. John beloved husband of the late Florence (Murphy, 2001). Lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law Rita Dillon (late Raymond) Kingston; his children Helen Harrision (Jack), Newburgh, Catherine, Sudbury, Patrick (Maggi), Hamilton, Joseph (Monique), Kingston, Sister Louise, R.H.S.J., St. Catharines, Rita Foley, Howe Island, Eileen Grooms (Randy), Kingston. Dear Papa to Patrick, Lorraine, Dianne, Maureen, Peter, Mary, John, Lianne, Michael, Jacqueline, Kathleen, Kevin, Stephen, Erin, Justin, Kyle and Shawn. Special great grandpa to Amanda. Megen, Brendan, Reid, Claire, Stephen, Jasmine, Aleah, Kristen, Brittany, Kyley, Tye, Dylan, Jacob, Dillan, Jarred and Julien. Survived by his brothers Hugh (Kye), Michigan; Frank (Helen) Dillon, Kingston, and his sister Geraldine Hoey, Ottawa. Sadly missed by many special nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his children Donald, Raymond, Hugh and Colleen, his son-in-law Bob Foley; his parents Patrick and Mary (Finn) Dillon; his sisters Kathleen Enright (Perce) and Rita Craigen (Joe); his brother Gerard Dillon (Elizabeth); his brother-in-law Bernard Hoey; father-in-law Patrick Murphy (Evalina); brothers-in-law Everett Murphy (Catherine) and Stafford Murphy (Eileen); and his sister-in-law Lillian Cousins (Ross). TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES, TOWNSHIP CHAPEL, 435 Davis Drive, Kingston on Tuesday, July 17 from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 18 from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 392 Palace Road, Kingston, on Thursday, July 19 at 11:00 a.m. Monsignor Joseph Lynch officiating. Rite of committal with prayers in St. Anthony of Padua Cemetery, Centreville.
