VIAU, Alcide Gerard - In loving memory of Alcide Gerard Viau, 86 years, who passed away Saturday, July 28th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of Denise Viau predeceased April 19, 1965. Loving father of Lucien (wife Judy) of Capreol, Claudette (husband Raymond Bromley) of Levade and Richard (wife Valarie) of Noelville. Cherished grandfather of Darren (Lindsay), Melissa, Gerry Jr. (Anne), Shelley (Jeff), Debra (Colin), Mary (Bruce), great grandchildren Caroline, James, Chad, Cassie, Mason, Drew, Amanda, Hope, Christopher, Kiersten and Kertsen, and great great grandson Riley. Dear son of Calixte and Marie Viau both predeceased. Dear brother of Telesphore, Therese, Rose, Jean, Amanda and Elysee. Born in Noelville, Alcide loved the outdoors, he was a skilled guide, an excellent trapper and he loved to hunt and fish. He worked at Natural Resources as a mechanic for a number of years and he enjoyed a game of cards. Memorial Mass at St. David's Church, Noelville on Thursday, August 2nd, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Cancer Center appreciated.
