BANFIELD, Herbert “Herb“ Oscar - In loving memory of Herbert “Herb“ Oscar Banfield, 82 years, who passed away Monday, July 30th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Center. Beloved husband of Susan (Kohls) Banfield of Sudbury. Loving father of Brian (wife Darlene) of Calgary, David (wife Sharon) and Greg both of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Jordan, Samuel, Nicholas and Kaden. Sadly missed by family in Grenada, England and Canada. Born in Grenada, he married Susan in Pembroke in 1954. Herb was a successful salesman with Loblaws, then with Quaker Oats for many years, retiring in 1990. He was a man of great faith, devoted to his Church, Glad Tidings Tabernacle where he loved to serve as an usher. Herb enjoyed golf, he was a real people person and he will be missed by his friends at Tim Hortons. 2 Timothy 4 verse 7, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.“ At Herb's request there will be no public visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Glad Tidings Building Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME. 10763828
