FORAN, Joan - Passed away at the St. Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake on Sunday July 22, 2007 at the age of 62. Joan was a registered nurse in the Toronto area for over 20 years. Beloved wife of Bryan Foran of Elliot Lake. Loving daughter, of Bernice Piercey of Richmond Hill and the late Frank Piercey. Dear mother of Heather Ann McGibney (Jason) of Toronto and grandmother of Gabriel and Jude. Also survived by brother Craig Piercey (Wendy) of Newmarket and nieces Nicole and Emilie. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
