MOHER, John - Passed away at North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site Saturday March 17, 2007, at the age of 87. John was the beloved husband of Rose (nee Hanley) for 58 years and loved father of Michael (Ellen) of Unionville, Fr. Peter of North Bay, Mary Jenkinson of Huntsville and Tim (Denise) of Kitchener. Fond memories will be cherished by his grandchildren, Jackie, John, Rosie, Lauren, Martin, Keith, Matt, Christopher, Patrick, Alexander and Aidan. Eldest brother of Joan Corrigan, Catherine Bradford, and Owen. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Ellen, his sister Anna and brothers Jerry and Robert. John was born in Belleville and moved to North Bay in 1947. Until his retirement in 1985 he was a court reporter. Since then he enjoyed travel and spending time with family and friends. John was an involved member of the Pro- Cathedral of the Assumption Parish, the Knights of Columbus (4th Degree and Past Grand Knight) and served as a trustee for the Roman Catholic Separate School Board. He enjoyed the game of golf and embraced his Irish heritage. Many thanks to Dr. Aylett and the nursing staff of 3-East. Family receiving friends at the MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
