MACKELLAR (nee. Purdon), Audrey Eileen - Mrs. Eileen MacKellar died peacefully in her 81st year surrounded by family on Sunday, April 8, 2007 at her home overlooking Lake Nipissing. Eileen (Purdon) was the beloved wife of Ian Murray MacKellar of Callander. She was the beloved mother of Sandi MacKellar (Roger Thibaudeau) of Callander, Jim MacKellar (Monique) of North Bay, Lori Degagne of Callander and Scott MacKellar (Laura) of Kingston. Eileen was the proud grandmother of Shawn, Lisa, Andrew, Scottie and great- granddaughter Brianna. She was the dear sister of the late Elmer Pud Purdon (Eileen of North Bay), the late Maurice Duffy Purdon (Cubby of Powassan) and Betty Thompson (the late Ken) of North Bay. The MacKellar family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place with a spring interment at Powassan Union Cemetery. If desired donations in memory of Eileen may be made to the V.O.N., the Purdon Conservation Area, or the Powassan United Church.
