WATKINS, Clifford (Cliff) - Peacefully at his residence in North Bay on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of 52 years to Ruth McCullough. Dear father of Tammy (John Rideout), Tom (Ashley) and Tim (Tracy) all of North Bay and Terri (David McQuaig) of Cambridge. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Andrew and Patrick Rideout, Adam and Heather McQuaig, Owen Watkins and Caleigh Watkins and his faithful friend Presley. Also survived by 2 sisters Sheila (Freeman Marshal predeceased), Beatrice (Frank McDonald predeceased) and a niece Joan (Les Shrigley). Special cousin to George (Sandy Clayton) of Vaughan. Cliff worked for the North Bay Fire Department from 1956 until 1991, retiring as Captain with 35 years of service. He was a devoted father, loving husband, special grandfather and an avid Maple Leafs fan. He will be sorely missed. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., today from 7 until 9 pm and Tuesday from 1 until 3 pm. Funeral service at the funeral home at 3 pm. Donations to the North Bay General Hospital in memory of Cliff will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
