COUSINEAU, Iva - At Sudbury Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, April 24,2007. Iva Pennell beloved wife of the late Lawrence Cousineau in her 90th year. Dear loved mother of Helen Turgeon (Turk deceased) of Callander, Marilyn Smith of Dubois, Penn., Lorna Jamieson (Jim) of North Bay, James Cousineau (Suzanne) of Mississauga and Bob Cousineau (Lori) of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Loved sister of Don Pennell (Jean deceased) of North Bay. Predeceased by a daughter Eileen Turgeon (Reg deceased), a granddaughter Ruth Smetana, her parents Abigail and Obadiah Pennell, a sister and five brothers. Iva was a member of the Royal Cdn.Legion branch 23 and the Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casinos. Her great love was family and knitting for them. Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Legion service will be conducted Friday at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Royal Cdn.
