ROSTERN, Lamenda Ann (Mendy) - At the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Monday, June 4, 2007, Mendy Rostern of Burlington in her 48th year. Beloved wife of Michael Rostern. Much loved mother of Tara Emm (Charlie) of New York, Heather Rostern (Dave Bruce) and Ben Rostern all of Burlington. Cherished grandmother of Madison, and Serena. Loving daughter of Donald and the late Marilyn Simms and daughter in law of Patricia and the late Albert Rostern. Dear sister of Kelly Jennings (Elizabeth) of Milton and April Hertel (Greg) of Waterdown and sister in law of Kathy and Rich Rhamey, Pam and John Passerino, all of Burlington and Wendy Rostern and Cory Best of Toronto. Mendy was a much loved aunt to all her nieces and nephews, and will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. Through Mendy's act of kindness in signing the organ donation form of her driver's license, others will receive her gift of life. Special thanks to Dr. Berlingieri, Jackie, all the nurses and staff of the ICU of JBMH and to Transplant Coordinators Nancy and Carla for the compassion and kindness shown to Mendy and all of her family. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall) BURLINGTON (905 632 3333) on Thursday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Tansley United Church, 2111 Walker's Line, Burlington on Friday June 8, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens.
