BRUNTON: Jessie Florence - Formerly of Temiscaming, Quebec - Peacefully at Cassellholme, on Thursday, May 31, 2007. Jessie Gillies, was the beloved mother of William Brunton and his wife Maureen, she was 90 years old. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Sandy Veley and her husband Dave of Kingston, Gilles Foisy of North Bay, Micheline McCarthy and her husband Dan of Callander and great grandchildren Wyatt, Brooke, Rory and Haley. Dearly loved sister of Bill Gillies of Surrey, BC. She will be fondly remembered by her several nieces and nephews. Upon moving to North Bay, Jessie became a member of the North Bay Golden Age Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23. At Jessie's request a Private Family Funeral Service will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall). If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
