Raymond DELORME

DELORME, Raymond (1954-2007) - The family announces with sorrow his peaceful death at home surrounded by those he loved, on Saturday August 4th 2007, at the age of 52 years. Loving son of Thérèse Delorme (née Brabant) of Sturgeon Falls and of the late Paul Delorme. Predeceased by his wife Lise (née Lachance) in 2001, Raymond is survived by his partner Marielle Lamarche of Sturgeon Falls. Devoted and caring father of Nathalie of North Bay, Eric of Ottawa, and Natacha of Sturgeon Falls. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the Lachance family for whom he had a great affection. Raymond was a C.G.A. who started his career with Macmillan-Bloedel. He then joined the West Nipissing General Hospital where he was the Assistant Executive Director. Devoted to his community, Raymond was the director for the Relay for Life in the Sturgeon Falls area and was involved in sporting activities such as hockey, baseball and golf. Above all, Raymond was an attentive husband and father, patient and caring, always of a pleasant disposition, he had a positive attitude and a great sense of humor. He battled his illness with courage, strength and determination, thereby inspiring others. The family will receive friends at the THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Tuesday, 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, August 8th 2007 at 11a.m. in La Résurrection Church, Sturgeon Falls.
