Peter William JACKSON

JACKSON, Peter William (Veteran WWII) July 15, 1921 - July 16, 2007 Peacefully in Ottawa On Monday, July 16, 2007, one day after his 86th Birthday. Beloved husband of Eileen Bunting and the late Tommy (Mabel) Jackson. Much loved father, father-in-law and stepfather of Roger, Susan and her husband Larry Rosen, Chris Bunting, Pat and Bonnie Bunting. Cherished grandfather of Daniel, Ian and Graham Rosen. Peter will be dearly missed by the Bunting grandchildren and their families. Peter was a long time member of the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, Toastmasters and the Rotary Club. Funeral service will be held at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow in the McGarry Family Reception Centre. Donations in memory of Peter may be made to the SCO Health Service Foundation, 43 Bruyere Street, Ottawa, K1N 5C8, (613-562-6319). The family wishes to thank the nurses, doctors and caregivers of the 5th floor at the Elisabeth Bruyere Palliative Care Centre, especially Jessica, Maggie, Felicia and Bernadine for their wonderful care and compassion.
