OBITUARY MARGARET E. FOUNTAIN Age ninety-seven, died at Alliance Care Adult Family Home in Seattle in the company of her family on July 6, 2007. Born in Montreal, Canada in February 1910, Margaret earned an undergraduate degree at McGill University, where she was a founding member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She married Jack Fountain of Hackensack, NJ in 1937 and spent most of her adult life in New Jersey.he moved to Seattle in 1989 after Jack died.ater, while in her 90's, she met and entered into a commitment relationship with Herman Wallenfels. An avid lover of music, in Seattle she played clarinet with the North Seattle Community College Symphonic Band and, later, with the Rain City Symphony. She was active in her church and other activities in a way that, somehow, always touched the hearts of those who grew to know her. Margaret is survived by her three sons John, Kenneth and Robert and her grand-daughter Katherine. She was loved by all, and we miss her very much. A memorial service will be held at the University Unitarian Church, of which she was a member, at 6556 35th Ave NE, Seattle on Monday, July 16 at 11:00 AM.
