BERTRAND, Lois (nee Sparling) Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Alexandre Bertrand. Dear mother of Suzanne (Barry Young), Ottawa and Paul (Martine Carrier), Calumet Island. Dear sister of Edna (the late Al Monahan), Richmond Ont.; Hilda (Reverend Ron Pincoe), Orangeville, Ont.; The Venerable Wallace (Dawn Buckland), St. Ignace-de-Stanbridge, Que. and Norris (Doreen Myers), Mississippi Lake, Ont. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Justin, Alisa and Laura Bertrand and Bradley Young, by sisters-in-law Yvonne Bertrand and Alexina Lemay and by many nephews, great nephews, nieces and great nieces. Friends may call at the Ringrose Brothers Funeral Home, Campbell's Bay, Quebec Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday after 12 Noon. Funeral service in St.George's Anglican Church, Campbell's Bay, Quebec on Friday, July 20 at 2 p.m. Interment in St. Anne's cemetery, Calumet Island, Quebec.
