OBITUARY HILDA McKINNON (nee McBRIDE) Hilda McKinnon passed on to heaven, Tuesday, July 17, 2007, after a lengthy illness. She is now with her beloved husband Jack. Hilda is survived by her children and their families - Bill and Lynda McKinnon of Ottawa, ON, Dave and Becky McKinnon of Raleigh, NC, Robert and Carolyn McKinnon of Lake Jackson, TX and Joanne and Al Bunys of Evansville, IN. Hilda graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Royal Victoria Hospital in 1945. Hilda was a true Christian lady and is fondly remembered as one of the great Sanford Ave. Moms who helped raise the thirty-eight plus kids on the block. She was a devoted member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church. Hilda is dearly remembered by her grandchildren - Stephanie, Alison, Andrew, Sean, David, Beth, Morgan, Meredith and Kevin. Her great-grandchildren - Ashley, Michael, Brooke and her great great-granddaughter Jada. Visitation will be at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 307 Riverside Street, St. Lambert, QC on Monday July 23, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday July 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 95 Lorne Ave., St. Lambert, QC. A reception will follow in the church hall, then interment will be at Hawthorndale Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1434 Sainte-Catherine St. West, Suite 450, Montreal, QC H3G 1R4.
