GEDDIS, Philip James (Jim) Born in Lurgan, Northern Ireland August 23, 1951 Our dear Jim passed away on July 23, 2007. Cherished father of Holly Simpson, beloved son of Hetty and the late Jim Geddis. Special brother to Maurice (Susan), Tom (Norma), Cathy Coghlan (Peter), Paul (Jane), Colin (Kelly) and Heather Ireland (Len). Loving uncle to many nephews and nieces. Jim will be missed by his relatives in Ireland and also his many dear friends. Sincere thanks for the dedication and support from Jim's friends and the staff at the Ottawa Civic Hospital. Jim touched the hearts of all who knew him. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt) on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 470 Roosevelt, on Friday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Westminster Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
