PENNETT, J. Arthur Following a short illness, in hospital in Perth, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, July 25th, 2007, J. Arthur Pennett in his 81st year (veteran of WWII and member of the Knights of Columbus). Beloved husband of Mary Mildred 'Millie' (Hogan) Pennett. Loved father of Deb Sisty (Donna Rumball), Doug (Leslie) and Polly Pennett and grandfather of Chris and James Sisty and Connor Pennett. He will be sadly missed by brothers-in-law Jim Burke, Alex Dean and Mac Crozier, his family and many good friends; he was predeceased by his sisters Carmel Leggett, Rita Byrne, Lorraine Dean, Frances McParlan and Nora Crozier and brothers Joe and Shirley Pennett. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St W., Perth Friday July 27th from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John's Church, Perth Saturday at 11:00 A.M. In remembrance, contributions to the Memorial Fund St. John's Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 244 Perth will assemble for a Veteran's Service of Remembrance Friday at 6:30 P.M., the Knights of Columbus will conduct prayers at 8:45 P.M.
