Melvin Leslie ASHBY

ASHBY, Melvin Leslie "Mel" 1938 - 2007 Peacefully at the Almonte General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer over the past year. Loving husband of Joan (nee Corrigan) for the past forty-seven years and proud father of three sons; Shawn (Mary), Patrick (Wendy) and Daniel (Kirsty). Beloved grampa to Ryan, Matthew, Kaitlin, Mitchell, Michael, Lauren, Paige and Carter. Much loved brother of Wayne (Cindy) of Tucson, Arizona. As per Mel's request cremation will be carried out prior to a private family service at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, followed by interment at Pinecrest Cemetery.
