ADAMS, Bethel Nee MacLeod May 17, 1925 - July 26, 2007 Retired - Ottawa Citizen Passed away peacefully at her beloved home in Nepean, Ontario in the loving arms of her family on Thursday, July 26th, 2007, at the age of 82. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bruce in 1986. Devoted mother and best friend to her two daughters, Linda and husband Gerry LaBelle, of Kitchener and Sandra and her husband Danny Allen, of Nepean. Cherished and loving grandmother "Nammie" to Jeremy Allen. Daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Ann MacLeod, of Crysler, Ontario. Predeceased by brothers Archie and Ken, and sister Isabelle Gordon. Bethel will be lovingly remembered by her sister Norma Popowicky, of Ottawa, many nieces and nephews, Sam Savoie and family, as well as Bruce's brother and sisters, Wilson Adams (Daisy) of California, Muriel Murray, of Ottawa, Lena Walton and Hilda (Bill) Mulholland, of B.C. She will be sadly missed by her longtime friends Margaret Cummings, Beryl Groleau and Daphne Hughes, with whom she shared many happy times. A proud and gracious woman, Bethel's life reflected her gentle spirit - always a kind word, a warm smile and a reassuring hand. Heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lisa Aldridge and Doctors of the Community Palliative Care Network and the wonderful staff of the Community Care Access Centre and Carefor for their compassionate support. In keeping with Bethel's wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.
