Winnifred BROWN

BROWN, M. WINNIFRED (WINNIE) M. Winnifred (Winnie) Brown 87, of Moncton passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, July 28, 2007. Born in Rexton, Winnie was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Grattan) Brown. Winnie attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. She was a retired teacher at Moncton Community College (Beauty Culture Dept.) with 23 years service and was a member of the NB Hairdressers Association and the NB Irish Cultural Association. Winnie's deep faith and love of life will be remembered by all that knew her. Winnie will be sadly missed by her sisters in law, Della Brown, Ottawa, ON, Molly Brown, Montreal, PQ; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Harry, Earle, Patrick, Fred, George and Richard; sister, Anna. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) Tuesday 2 to 4, 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Dominion Street, Moncton August 1, 2007, 11am, Rev. Allison Carroll officiating. Reception following the service. Interment, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rexton. In Winnie's memory donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care or memorial of choice would be appreciated.
