GARDNER, Arthur Robert - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Thursday, August 9th, 2007 at the age of 73 years. Son of the late Harold and of the late Alice (nee Nelson) Gardner. Beloved husband of Carmen Gardner (nee Gravel) of Onaping. Loving father of Michael Gardner (Lise) and Terry Gardner both of Sudbury, Brian Gardner (Carol) of Toronto and Norman Gardner (partner Fred) of Ottawa. Dear brother of Allan Gardner (Carol) of Edmonton, Bill Gardner (Judy) of Barrie, John Gardner (Tamie) of Florida, Darlene Aitken of Toronto, Ruth Ann Aitken of Orillia, Ed Aitken (Ruby) of Dresden, Jim Aitken of Vancouver, Carl Gardner (Lannie), Earl Gardner (Marie) and Kerry (Al) all of Toronto, Gordie Gardner (Carol) of Kelowna, B.C. and Glen Gardner of Belleville. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Christian (Angela), Jonathan, Melanie and Geneviève. Arthur, a real go-getter was a man of integrity with a sense of duty especially to his family and his work. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren. Arthur was a very social person who appreciated nature and loved the outdoors. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing and gardening. The family expresses its appreciation to Dr. S.J. Cameron for her kind and compassionate care. Family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, RR 15, CHELMSFORD, Sunday from 2-5 and 7- 9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 13th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Chelmsford.
