COURVILLE, Carmen (née Lauzon) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, after a lengthy illness, Thursday, August 9th, 2007 at the age of 60 years. Dear daughter of Thérèse (née Gagnon) and Aurel Lauzon. Beloved husband Daniel Courville. Loving mother of Anne Courville Pretty (Jody) and Nicole Courville-Giroux (Michel). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kylie, Tyler, Patrick and Zacharie. Dear sister of Denis Lauzon (Cathy), Suzanne Blanchard and Paulette Ethier (Hubert). Special thank you to close family and friends, to the 4th floor staff at the SRH (Laurentian Site) and to the Northern Ontario Cancer Center staff for the kind and compassionate care and support given to Carmen during her illness. Born March 17th, 1947 in Sudbury, Carmen attended St- Joseph School, Collège Notre-Dame, graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in May of 1968 and retired from Laurentian Hospital in 1997. She was a member of the “Club Richelieu Féminin de Sudbury”, a member of the Sudbury Bridge Club, co-founder of the Devine Wine Club and many other groups and associations. Carmen enjoyed life, travelling and all it's people to the fullest. Family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre- Dame), Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, August 13th, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury, followed by reception. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. 10779736
