RANCOURT, Gaston R. - In loving memory of Gaston R. Rancourt who passed away in Sudbury, surrounded by his loving family, Saturday August 11th, 2007 at the age of 64 years. Son of the late Victor Sr. and of the late Marie-Ange (née Lacasse) Rancourt. Beloved husband of Claudette Rancourt (née Desloges) of Sudbury. Cherished father of Diane Thibault (Roger) of Barrie, Carole Tonelli (Marc) and André Rancourt (Cassandra LaSorsa) both of Garson. Dear brother of Maurice Rancourt (Rita) of Garson, Victor Jr. Rancourt (Juliette), Edouard Rancourt (Cécile) both of Sudbury, Yvon Rancourt (Mary-Lou) of Port Elgin and Marguerite Buller (Ben) of Kitchener. Predeceased by his sister Yvette Martin (late Armand). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Mélanie, Nicole, Francine, Mathieu, Denica, David, James and Addisson. An avid outdoorsman, Gaston enjoyed fishing, hunting and was always willing to help others. A man of great faith, the focus of his life was his loving family who will remember many fond memories. Mr. Rancourt was also a member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Council # 9618 St-Dominique, Sudbury. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME 222 Lasalle Blvd. East, (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Monday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday August 14th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St-Dominique Church, Sudbury.
