BECKERTON, Ida - of Spanish passed away at Huron Lodge, Elliot Lake on Friday August 10th 2007 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Beckerton. Loving mother of Keevin (Catherine) of Spanish, late Teresa (Joseph Mailloux) of Walford, Lori of North Bay, late Julie and John (wife Sue) of Spanish. Dear sister of late Joseph, Delia Mucaster of Elliot Lake, late Albert, Nora St.Gelias of Spanish, Teresa (Genoe Elwood) of Spanish, late Gillbert, Doreen (Cliff Frost) of Burlington, Eva Tomalin of Elliot Lake, late Marleen Gignac, late Don Gignac, and Pat (John Budge) of Walford. Cherished by 18 grandchildren and 3 greatgrandchildren. Will also be sadly missed by many friends and relatives. Resting at St. Sebastian's R.C. Church in Spanish on Sunday August 12th 2007 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Monday August 13th at 2 p.m. at St. Sebastian's with Deacon Maurice Cyr officiating. Interment at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Spanish. If so desired donations may be made to the Spanish Medical Clinic, Northern Cancer Research or Alzheimer's society.
