KONTONIEMI, Kari Juani - In loving memory of Kari Juani Kontoniemi, 45 years, who passed away Sunday, August 12th, 2007 at his home. Born in Toronto, he was a proud member of Labourers Union #493 for almost 30 years. Kari was very active and dedicated to his union. He was a “local boy“ and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and snowmobiling. Kari had a great sense of humour and always kept a happy go lucky attitude about life. He was outgoing and personable, and was known and appreciated by his many friends. Sadly missed by his loving children Liam, Tate, Tia and their mother Maria. Cherished son of Hellevi predeceased and Bruno Kontoniemi of Sudbury. Loving nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Olavi Maja of Azilda, predeceased by Arvo. Dear cousin of Soile and Steve Oreskovic. Special friends of Jimmy Hammond and family and Chris Malley and family. Sadly missed by family and friends in Canada and Finland. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Friday, August 17th, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
