DICKINSON, William John (Jack) - With his family at his side at the Brantford General Hospital, on Monday, August 6, 2007, Jack passed away in his 73rd year after a courageous battle with cancer. Jack leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Marion, his cherished son Dean, special daughter-in-law Cindy, Granddaughter Nicole and Grandson Brayden. He also leaves behind his brother Jim (Connie), sisters Pat Inder, Peggy Campbell, Brothers and sisters-in-law Ron and Eldene Oros, Helen and Tony Spalvieri, Bill Oros, Shirley Oros and many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents Bill and Jennie, sister Barbara Joan, Father and mother-in-law Peter and Doris Oros and brothers-in-law Archie Oros and Larry Inder. Jack was a long time social member at the Knights of Columbus where he enjoyed volunteering for many events and socializing with his friends. Jack retired from the W. Ross MacDonald School for the Blind in November 2000 and enjoyed playing cards at the club, fishing and entertaining his cat “Rusty“. As per Jack's wishes, cremation has already taken place with a Memorial Service to be held at the Knights of Columbus on August 14, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory can be made to the Brantford SPCA Memorial Adoption Fund. 10773772
