BENNINGER, Eugene “Benny“ Albert - Suddenly at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on Sunday, August 5, 2007, Eugene “Benny“ Albert Benninger, age 67, of Chatham, beloved husband of the late Theresa (Duphette) Benninger (June 22, 2007). Born in Chatham in 1940, son of the late Rose (Becker) and Alvin Benninger, he worked for Meritor for many years. He will be sadly missed by: his children, Greg and Sarah Benninger and Kelly Eagen and husband Brett, 4 grandchildren, Jordan and Lauren Eagen, Khailey and Jarrod Benninger, a brother Gary Benninger and wife Heather and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11:00 am in St. Agnes' Church. Cremation has taken place and the ashes will be entombed in Maple Leaf Mausoleum following the Mass. Donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
