BARNES, Lilian - Peacefully with her family by her side at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville, on Thursday, August 2, 2007, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late George Barnes. Loving mother of Larry and Judy, Howard and Carole, Gloria and Jerry, Lawrence, Sylvia and Gary Putman, Keith and Pam, Alan and Denise, Joanne and Dave High, Jim and Kim, Terry and Kathy, Cheryl and Ted Alexander. Lovingly remembered by her 27 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Ken Pyle, Doris Kriter, Orval and Angie Pyle, Stan and Ethel Pyle, Marvin and Bernice Pyle, Graydon and Eileen Pyle, Maryellen and Larry Page, Glen Pyle. Predeceased by two infant children David and Joyce Mary, her parents Gerald and Edna Pyle and three brothers, Murray, Herb and Clark. Family and friends will be received at the BALLARD MINOR FUNERAL HOME, 315 Broad St. E., Dunnville, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, August 4, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. Interment Highbanks Cemetery.
