WITTY, Genevieve (Cole) - Of Massey passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Elliot Lake on Friday, August 10, 2007 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the later Russell Cole and the late Frank Witty. Dear daughter of the late Moise and Louise (McGregor) Blanchette. Loving mother of Ralph Cole (wife Laura) of Massey, Betty (Cole) Sampson of Sudbury and the late James Cole (wife Gail) of Dunnville, the late Robert Cole (wife Mona) both predeceased, and the late Janet. Will be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren Frank, Robert, David, Susan, Brent, Lisa, Kimberly, Paula and Daniel and 15 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 granddaughter Sandra. Dear sister of Sylvia (Mrs. Bill Warus) of Sudbury and the late Ralph, Art and Rene Blanchette (wife Joyce), Joanne Hayes and Estelle McCauley (husband Joe). Genevieve enjoyed knitting for her grandchildren and painting and reading. She loved flowers and produced many gardens around the house. She was a member of the Spanish River Women's Institute. Rested at the MASSEY VISITATION CENTRE on Monday, August 13, 2007 until the time of Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church on Monday with Reverend Mr. Raymond Patrie officiating.
