LEES, Shannon Treacy - The light, love and laughter of our family, Shannon, passed away on Friday, August 10th, 2007. Dearest daughter of Margaret “Peggy“ Lees (nee Treacy) and the late David Ray Lees. Loving sister of Bernadette Jacobs (Bill), M. M. Lees, Raeanna Lees McParland (Gary), and Myra Lees-Schmitz (Peter). Also sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church (corner of University Ave. and Division St. in Cobourg) on Wednesday, August 15th, 2007 at 2pm. Interment to follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation to be held at MACCOUBREY FUNERAL HOME, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Parish Prayers to be said at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:30 pm. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all those who were involved in Shannon's care.
