Roma Jean Louis Deschamps (Roma’s family owned and operated the Canadian Dairy; upon it’s sale he worked as an autoparts salesman until his retirement) of Moulinette Road, Long Sault; age 80 years. Beloved husband of Lucille (Brunet) Deschamps. Dear father of Luc Deschamps (Pam) of Langley, BC, Carole Poirier (Normand), Lynne Papineau (William) and Manon Thompson (Terrence) all of Cornwall. Predeceased by one son, Serge Deschamps. Loving grandfather of Wayne, Melissa and Nathan Deschamps, Alain and Josee Poirier, Justine Dulude, Tasha and Chelsea Thompson and great-grandfather of Liam and Emma Poirier. Dear son of the late Narcisse Deschamps and the late Leoda (Pilon) Deschamps. Dear brother of Pierrette Primeau and Darquise Lalonde. Predeceased by three brothers, Henri, Rolland and Yvon Deschamps and by one sister, Colombe Benoit. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Monday. Funeral Tuesday, July 17, 2007 for Mass of Christian Burial in Ste-Thérèse de Lisieux Church at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Tuesday.
