PHANEUF, Laurie - Mr. Laurie Phaneuf of Cornwall at the Cornwall Community Hospital - McConnell Site after a brave battle with cancer, on Tuesday July 31, 2007 age 56 years. Laurie was born in Austin, Quebec and is the beloved husband of Simone Phaneuf (nee Benoit). Dear father to Anthony of Cornwall and Sandra of Cowansville, Quebec. Dear brother of Bryan (Denise), Myles, Mark (Loretta), and Linda. Sadly missed by grandchildren Maxwell, Luke, Miranda, and Wade and by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Stanley Phaneuf and Ida Powell. A service will be held in at a later date and time to be announced. If so desired contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Janet MacDonell Pavilion would be appreciated by the family.
