LaLONDE, Raymond - It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond Alcide Lalonde of Apple Hill on August 3 of 2007, in his 67th year after a long courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Simone and by his children Lynn (Rejean) Quenneville of Cornwall, Raymond (Deanna) of Williamstown, Michel (Paulette) of Apple Hill, Natalie (Edwin) of Cornwall, Luc of Hamilton, Pierre of St. Andrews and his sisters, Gloria MacDonell, Mary J. Baird, Carmel Bussiere and Madeleine Albert. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Diana (Leroux) and Alcide Lalonde of Apple Hill and by brothers Rene, Laurier and Bernard. In keeping with Raymond's wishes, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church, Apple Hill, on Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m Rite of committal will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Raymond, a tree will be planted in Memory Woods.
