BRITTON, William - Mr. William Britton at the Cornwall Community Hospital - McConnell Site on Saturday August 11, 2007 at the age of 86 years; Veteran WWII, and Retired Domtar Employee. Beloved husband of 63 years to Muriel Winters. Loved father of William Britton (Ethel), Morrisburg; Susan Anne Britton, Ottawa and chosen father of Mary Ann Meldrum of Ottawa. Also survived by his brother-in-law Reverend James Winters of Ottawa. Predeceased by his parents Basil and Hilda (Eamer) Britton; his brother Stirling Britton (Shirley); and his sister Elizabeth Crites (Late Ivan). Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall. A service in memory of William will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday August 23, 2007 at 1:30 PM. Interment to follow in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault. Visitation on Thursday from 12:30 PM until the time of funeral.
