BOUCHER, Mary “Abigal“ (McAuley) - In loving memory of Mary “Abigail“ (McAuley) Boucher, 95 years, who passed away Sunday, August 5th, 2007 at the Pioneer Manor. Born in Blind River, she worked as a Registered Nurse at the St. Joseph Hospital and then at Laurentian Hospital for over 40 years. Abigail was a devout Roman Catholic and a dedicated member of Christ the King Church, CWL, the church choir as well as being a longtime member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was a former Cub leader and a member of Club lll. Abigail enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and painting. She had a great love of music and was talented with the guitar or piano. She will be missed. Beloved wife of Larry Boucher predeceased 1972. Loving mother of Tommy (wife Dorothy) of Florida, Bernie (wife Loretta) of Sault Ste. Marie, Margaret (husband Randy Toner) of Sudbury, Marian (husband Nick Foster) of Victoria, Peter (wife Carole) of Sault Ste Marie, predeceased by Gail and Theresa. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Thomas and Albina McAuley both predeceased. Dear sister of Web (wife Nancy predeceased), Alfred (wife Dorothy) and Frank (wife Ann) all of Sault Ste. Marie, Theresa (husband Lee Lavergne predeceased) of Espanola, predeceased by Margaret (husband Leonard Piccolo), Rita Roby, Monica (husband Paul Shami of Sault Ste. Marie), Mary (husband Jack Lucas) and Thomas. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the JACKSON and BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church, Thursday, August 9th, 2007 at 10am. Interment in the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery.
