BANFIELD, Mabel (nee Maynard) - Peacefully, on Monday, August 6th, 2007 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late 'Bert' for 58 years. Loving mother of Brian (Barb) and Tracy (Dave) Roach both of Thorold. Dear grandmother of Colin, Scott, Michael, Kevin and Bailey. Predeceased by four brothers Waldo, Dave, John, George and one sister Lillian MacDonald. Survived by sisters-in-law Lois, Marge, Teresa and Winnie Lander. Mabel will be sadly missed by many family and friends. Special thanks to the Nurses and Staff at Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital 2 West. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, August 9th at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. If so desired, donations to St. John's Anglican Church (Building Fund) or the Legion Poppy Fund (Branch 17, Thorold) would be appreciated by the family. 10771462
