MORRIS, Jean - Passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 6th, 2007, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Ron Morris. Loving mother of Steve Morris and his wife Cathy, Audrey and her husband Merv McInnis, Andrew Morris, and Alison and her husband Craig Holliday, all of Durham. Cherished grandmother of Gillian, Trevor, Chris, Ben, Amy, Nathan and Rachel and great-grandmother of Bailey, Mackenzie and Evan. Dear daughter of Kathleen and the late Ernest Harford. Sister of Ted Harford and his wife Louise, Mike Harford and his wife Eileen, Dot and her husband Pete Welsh, and Eileen and her husband Dave Brunton. Predeceased by her infant son Ian. A private family service will take place. In respect of her wishes, a casual Come and Go tea to celebrate her life will be held for family and friends in her beloved garden (134 College Street, Durham) on Thursday from 3 – 6 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
