NARDELLI, Michelina - Born April 2nd, 1927 in San Pietro Infine, Italy and passed away peacefully in her 81st year on Friday, August 10th, 2007 in St. Catharines, Ontario. Beloved wife of 58 years to Agostino and dear mother of Lena Rushton, Mary (John) Lacroix and Antoinette Nardelli. Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Andrew Lacroix, and brother to Giuseppe Calleo (Italy). Predeceased by her parents Olindo & Rosa Calleo and her brother Roberto Calleo, also of Italy. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and an extended family in Italy. Michelina spent her long, healthy life taking care of her friends and family but still made time for her garden. She was a fiercely generous, loving and friendly person who had a sharp wit, strong will and an unending passion for cooking. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but remembered as an inspiration for love. A special thank you to Dr. Tatzel for all his support and care, and to the Staff of the St. Catharines General Hospital for their hard work and compassion. The family will receive friends at the HAMMOND FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Sunday, August 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church (21 Queen St. S., Thorold) on Monday, August 13th at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold. In lieu of flowers, donations to your charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. 10779729
