CHRISTIE, James William (Retired Sergeant 55 Division Metro Toronto Police) - In Meaford on Saturday, August 11, 2007. Jim Christie of Meaford and formerly of Toronto, in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Lillian. Loved father of Jamie of Toronto. Dear brother of Meston of Cambridge, England; Wilma McKenna of Hull, England; and Gordon of London, Ontario. Predeceased by a brother Leslie. A memorial service will be conducted at the Meaford United Church on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. A service of committal and interment of Jim's ashes will take place at Highland Memory Gardens in Toronto at a later date.
