BANKS, Hazel Bernice - of Port Colborne passed away peacefully at the Welland County General Hospital on Sunday August 12, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Loving wife of the late George William Banks. Beloved mother of Douglas and his wife Sheron and the late Gordon and his wife Brenda. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Tamara (Shawn) Culp, Chantal (Jean-Claude) Légere, Kristen (Ron Ryan), Heather (Jeff) Burns and Scott Banks. She will also be sadly missed by her great grandchildren Lillian and Carson Culp and Joshua and Olivia Légere. Hazel is also survived by her sister Donna Belansky. She was predeceased by her sisters Marie Moore, Gladys Ricker and Glenna VanAlstine. Hazel worked at the Port Colborne General Hospital for 18 years. Friends will be received at the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES, 135 Clarence St. on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday August 15, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
