MOOTE, Douglas Gordon MOOTIE - Of Welland, peacefully, with family by his bedside, at the Welland Hospital, on Saturday, August 12, 2007, in his 53rd year. Douglas is survived by his children, Jessica Moote (fiancé Tim Welychka), Adam Moote & Spencer Moote, all of Welland, his father, Gordon Moote of Welland, sisters, Diane Bridgland (Roy) and Patricia Patti Moote (Sheldon), all of Welland, aunts, Jeannie Davis of Welland and Patricia Bahm of Lake Mazinaw as well as nieces, Lindsay Bridgland, Janice Seguin (Shawn) and Hilary Bridgland and a number of cousins. Predeceased by his mother, Agnes Moote (July 31, 2007). Born in Welland, Douglas remained a life long resident of the city. He was employed as the senior operator for the St. Catharines Water Treatment Plant. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service, conducted by Pastor Bob Bond, at the H. L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, August 16th at 2:00 p.m., with visitations two hours prior to service time. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be deeply appreciated by the family. 10779921
