DEAN, Mary Elizabeth - Passed away peacefully at Victoria Village Manor, Barrie on Friday August, 10th, 2007. Mary Elizabeth Dean (nee Madigin) in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late William Robert Mitchell Dean of Long Branch. Daughter of the late Patrick Joseph Madigin (Simcoe, Ontario) (Sergeant U.S. Calvary 1872-1890) and Sarah Madigin (Thompson) of East Garafraxa. Dearly loved mother of the late Barbara Smith (Frank) and Dr. Peter W. Dean (Linda) of Barrie. Dear grandmother of Colleen Stevenson (Jon), Patricia Ingram (Rob), Katharine Hall (Steve), Warren Dean (Lynn Davis), Bryan Dean (Jacinta McLoughlin) and Margot Tuckey. Cherished great-grandmother of Jacklyn Tuckey, Alex Dean, Kirstin Tuckey, Rachael Dean, Connor Dean, Mitchell Dean, Ryan Dean, Keely Stevenson and Nial Stevenson, Ian Hall, and Charles Ingram, Xander Hall, and Dannen Ingram. Sister of the late Cecil Madigin, Winnifred Myhre, and William Madigin (Pat). Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME (Clapperton & Worsley Streets), Barrie on Sunday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Service will be held in the chapel on Monday August 13th, 2007 at 11:00 am. Special thanks to Dr. Krieger, the wonderful staff at Victoria Village (Balmoral House), and special care givers Fran Kunce Rea and Sally.
