STRELIOFF, ALEXANDER Elias - Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 15, 2007 in his 84th year. Born in Petrofka, Saskatchewan on January 12, 1924. Beloved husband of Hilda Strelioff; devoted father to George Donald (Michelle) Strelioff of Richmond Hill. Proud grandpa to Caitlin, Shannon and Bethany. Dear brother of Susan McNeil and Peter Stevens. Predeceased by his brother Bill Stevens. Raised in a rural Saskatchewan community he continued doing professional farm inspections into his 70's. Some of his proudest moments were working for the C.N.R. as a locomotive engineer. He then moved on to do work as a property manager with the Permanent (Canada Trust). He had a great golf swing and enjoyed bridge. Alex was on the board of directors at Grenadier Place, also a member of West St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. He remained a lifelong Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. Alex will be deeply missed by his grieving family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at the HULSE & ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 75 Church Street (905-684-6346) on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 11 a.m. with visiting one hour prior to service.
