GARAUGHTY, Mabel (Nee Snell). Passed away peacefully at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital on July 28, 2007 at the age of eighty-three years. Beloved wife of the late James Patrick Garaughty. Loving mother of Sharon, Chauncey and the late Kimberley. Dear grandmother of Christopher, Meaghan, Amanda and Ashley, sister of Kathleen, Marvina and the late Harold. Mabel will be missed by her nieces, nephews and many friends. A special thank you to Heather Murphy and Jean-Luc Chartrand for their caring and support. The family also wishes to thank the staff at the Mont Royal Residence for all their kindness and care. Visitation will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 307 Riverside Drive (corner Argyle) St. Lambert, on Thursday, August 2, 2007 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, August 3 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
