SINCENNES, Jo-Ann Peacefully, Friday August 3, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jo-Ann Sincennes age 73. Beloved wife of Lucien "Lou" Sincennes. Cherished mother of Paul Lawson (Marina), Eric Lawson, Donald Lawson, Leora Lawson, Jeannie Read (Craig), Patricia Creppin (Patrick), Brian Lawson (Beth) and Michelle (Germain). Special grandmother to 17 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren. Daughter of the late May Mountifield and Dr. Robert Brown. Dear sister of Shirley Brown, Dr. Robert Brown (Jean), Brenda Macdonell (Cortland) and Michael Brown (Sylvia). Jo-Ann will be sadly missed by Lucie and Glenn, Sandy and Brian and her many friends in Canada and the United States. Jo-Ann was Executive Director for Sports Federation of Canada from 1971 - 1985. Office manager 1st Canada Summer Games in Halifax, N.S. Secretary to Admiral Pullen who was writing a book on Schooners. Writer and performer for CBC show called "Miss Bluebell" and "Romper Room". Performer for CJCH Halifax called "Miss Jo-Ann". Writer and performer for CTV Halifax "Things to do on a rainy day". Founder and President of "Happy Home Services". Many Thanks to Carefor Nurses, Dr. Farncombe and her staff and also Elisabeth Bruyere for all their help. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue (west of Carlingwood) Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday to St. Martin de Porres Church, (3891 Richmond Road South, Bells Corners) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 a.m. In memoriam donations to Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre or Carefor Health and Community Services appreciated.
